We've been seeing Apple's next iOS 9 edition, codenamed Monarch, pop up here and there, indicating that the team from Cupertino is hard at work ironing out the eventual new features and stability improvements, like with all annual iOS editions, for a release some time around the WWDC conference .A recent major tip about what would iOS 9 stand for, hinted that it won't be as much the new features, which are usually the focus, but rather speed, optimization and stability this time. Apple made major changes to iOS an edition ago, completely redrawing the interface, and adding features galore, after all.This is only natural, since the mobile OS did recently undergo a major design overhaul and got many new features, which some people even found unnecessary and too cluttering. To combat this, Apple will undoubtedly push a lot of optimizations in the next update, so there shouldn’t be a lot of new features in iOS 9. This, however, does not stop Apple fans from dreaming and one Youtuber in particular, has just released a very beautifully executed video of various iOS features he would like to see in the upcoming update.
Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge yesterday at its Unpacked event at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, to take on Apple’s iPhone 6, which has been grabbing smartphone market share ever since its launch in September.
We take a look at how the Samsung Galaxy S6 stacks up against Apple’s iPhone 6.

Samsung has certainly raised its game with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge with an all-new design. The front still has a familiar look and feel to it, but the metal frame with the shiny bezel, and glass back panel instead of using cheap-feeling plastics that it has always been criticized for, makes them the most visually stunning devices Samsung has ever made.
We have mocked Samsung for blatantly copying the bottom section of the device (the speaker grille and the antenna bands), but sometimes you get the feeling that the company is just trying to troll Apple fanboys, as it just doesn’t make sense that a company that has improved upon the Galaxy S5’s design in such a dramatic way, would end up copying design elements from a device made by its arch rival, who hassuccessfully sued them for billions of dollars. At the end of the day, if you’re looking for a smartphone, it shouldn’t really matter if a device is inspired by another device.
Samsung hasn’t just focussed on design, it has also ticked quite a few boxes where the iPhone 6 falls short by offering the entry level model with 32GB storage (compared to iPhone 6’s 16GB), 3GB RAM (compared to iPhone 6’s 1GB), front and back facing camera with f/1.9 lens for improved low-light performance. Samsung has tried to match it by introducing the one-touch fingerprint sensor instead of previous generation’s swipe-based fingerprint scanner that didn’t work too well. At the same time, Samsung has also taken things to another level by adding innovative features such as Fast Charging, which allows users to charge their device with up to 4 hours of battery life after only 10 mins of charging and takes half the time to charge compared to the iPhone 6, the 577 pixels-per-inch display and built-in wireless charging that supports both WPC and PMA wireless charging standards.
The Galaxy S6 also comes with faster LPDDR4 RAM, which is supposed to provide 80% more bandwidth compared to LPDDR3 RAM used in the iPhone 6. It also comes with faster and more energy efficient UFS 2.0 flash memory instead of the eMMC memory standard. Compared to the eMMC 5.0 memory currently found in the iPhone 6, UFS 2.0 memory is 1.40 (sequential read speed), 1.66 (sequential write speed), 2.71 (random read speed) and 1.07 (random write speed) times faster.
Interestingly, Samsung has followed Apple’s footsteps, by finally letting go of features such as removable battery, microSD card slot and waterproofing. Samsung has ironicallymocked Apple in the past for not having a removable battery. But I think it’s a non-issue, when you consider that Apple has sold so many devices with these limitations. However, these features seem to matter to Android users, so it remains to be seen if Samsung’s decision will backfire, and end up alienating its own user base.
On paper, the Samsung Galaxy S6 looks very impressive. But the last time I used a Samsung smartphone (it was the Galaxy S4), I was turned off by the overall user experience, and also with the lack of the same quality of apps that are available in the App Store.
Samsung has promised that they have also made significant improvements on the software front by bundling a lighter version of TouchWiz and getting rid of almost 40 percent of bloatware. It is going to be tough to beat iOS when it comes to ease of use and tight integration of hardware, software and services.
How to Delete iCloud Account Without Entering Password Before Selling iPhone
With the release of new iOS 7, Apple also added few more security steps for iPhone and iPad owners. Now when the Find my iPhone feature is turned on, you can neither restore to new and fresh iOS and nor delete the iCloud account without first disabling the Find My iPhone feature. But there is a new bug in iOS 7 – up to iOS 7.0.4 – which allows any user to not only turn off the Find my iPhone but also delete the existing iCloud and add any new account.
Update: Apple had fixed this bug in the recent iOS 7.1 update. But there is a new bug even in the latest release which also allows the users to delete iCloud account without knowing the password. Read the details at the bottom of this post.
These days many mobile shop-keepers first check whether iCloud is active or not. If there is any account attached with device, they ask the seller to remove it first and then purchase it. If you want to sell your iPhone / iPad but you have forgotten the password or you don’t know the password, you can remove iCloud account by using this hack and then sell it.
This hack doesn’t require any software or special program. You have to perform few taps on your device and all is done. In fact it is a bug in the current iOS version. Fortunately, this bug has been fixed in the upcoming iOS 7.1 version.
Here is the step by step method to completely remove iCloud account without password:
Step 1: First of all open settings app and go to iCloud.
Step 2: Tap on iCloud account.
Step 3: Delete the existing password and enter any password (any random number).
Step 4: Tap on Done.
Step 5: After verification, iCloud will tell you that either username or password is incorrect.
Step 6: Click OK and then Cancel. You will be on iCloud main page again.
Step 7: Now again tap on Account and this time remove the description. Tap on Done.
Step 8: It will go back on main iCloud page without asking any password this time. Now you’ll see that Find My iPhone feature has been turned off automatically.
Step 9: Scroll down and tap on Delete account. A pop-up will open confirming you that if you delete your account, all documents and Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud will be deleted from this iPhone. Tap on Delete again.
Step 10: This time a new pop-out will show asking you whether you want to keep the data on iPhone or delete it from iPhone. Select one according to you choice.
That’s all. Now you have successfully removed iCloud account on your iPhone / iPad without knowing and entering the password.
